Mount Union borough

1908 Mount Union Baseball Team

1908, a year into the boom, and Mount Union had a baseball team. These young men, many the sons of immigrant families who came for the brick work, claimed their place in American culture through the game. Baseball diamonds are where factory towns proved they belonged.
