Mount Union borough

July 4th Parade, 1906

July 4th, 1906, Mount Union's still-small town comes out for a parade. The brick boom hasn't fully arrived yet, but the traditions are there: bands, bunting, marching down the main street. This is America asserting itself through ritual.
