New Deal art on our wall, 1936
Walk into the Mount Union post office and look up: in 1936, Treasury Department artist Paul Rohland painted this mural of the town as part of the New Deal's public art program. The same decade the flood hit, Uncle Sam gave Mount Union a piece of national art history.
