The Harbison-Walker Refractories works, the plant that made Mount Union 'Bricktown USA.' Beehive kilns, brick stacks, and acres of works turning Jacks Mountain ganister into the silica brick that lined America's steel furnaces, with the town it built climbing the hill behind.
